Ms Harrison, Headteacher
With an aim to further improve our communication to parents, we have decided to increase the use of our text messaging service. As well as our weekly newsletter and specific letters in book bags, we will now be sending text messages home to ensure that all parents get the right information. With this in mind can you please make sure we have your latest contact number on our system. Miss Fityo in the main office will be happy to help if you are unsure.
As you will be aware, we have been driving forward the standards of uniform in school over the past few weeks. Thank you all for your support as this has gone extremely well. I have however, been made aware by a number of parents, that there have been issues with the uniform supplier in relation to quality and price. We are working hard with the supplier to address this. With this in mind, and to support parents/carers, the children are allowed to wear non-logoed polo shirts to school. Jumpers/cardigans can be removed in class and on the school yard. Children are expected to wear a ‘logo-ed’ school cardigan and jumper when they are moving around the school and in assembly.
On Wednesday, it was fantastic to see our whole school attendance at 97.8% with 5 classes on 100%. An amazing effort by all involved and the students are very excited to see who will win ‘The Triple Crown’ this week!
As always it is great to speak you on the gate each morning or afternoon, so please feel free to stop by and share your thoughts.
